Loose Tooth

Josiah today was eating an ear of corn and said, "mom, my tooth hurts". We looked and he has his first loose tooth. My baby is growing up:(. He was estatic and had to tell everyone:). He's been wiggling it all day in hopes that it will fall out.

Distinctive Portraiture (Still glad we live in the country)

It was warm today and I gave the oldest two boys permission to use the tub and hose to cool off. I left them for a minute to answer the phone and came out to find this:

Jayden was only slightly muddy but sitting on the lawn mower - wanting to drive.

And this is Bambi (Honey) - a dog we have adopted. She's really smart, except that she too was a mud victim:).

So glad we live on a farm

It's been a while since I've written and today the boys did something that just had me laughing. They were sent outdoors to play before dinner and to pick some raspberries. About 10 minutes later they come in with a section of clay pipe from our old greywater drain and announce they found this "treasure" in the yard and dug it up! Their attire was decidedly "wild" and I chuckled thinking how we would miss this opportunity if we lived in a tidy little suburban home. By the time I got the camera out they were fighting over who got to hold the treasure so I have Josiah holding it and got a cute photo of Marcus in his shorts and boot attire. Too funny.

Vacation

Going to Door County? Be sure to stop in at the Harbor Inn in Algoma . . . (only 5 miles from Door County). :) This is an evening view from our vacation. The weather was lovely!
